RS 37:1745.1 - Health care provider's third party billing; notice to patient Every health care provider who provides health care services to a patient and submits a bill for payment to the patient shall note on the bill whether demand for payment has been made on an insurer or other third party responsible for payment, as identified by the patient, and that the insurer or third party refuses or has failed to make payment on the bill as demanded.
