RS 37:1969 - Scrap metal; purchase when forbidden A. No operator shall willfully or knowingly purchase scrap metal unpaid for by the seller or not owned by the seller. B. No operator shall purchase scrap metal, other than aluminum in the form of cans, from a person under the age of eighteen. Lack of knowledge of age shall not be a defense to a violation of this Subsection. C. No operator shall purchase precious metals. Acts 2012, No. 827, §1, eff. June 14, 2012.
