RS 37:2596 - Penalties Any person willfully violating any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than two thousand five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the parish jail for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Any contract of financial planning and management as defined in this Chapter, made by an unlicensed person, shall be null and void and of no legal effect. Acts 1970, No. 423, §16.
