RS 37:2832 - Purpose It is the purpose of this Chapter to regulate all persons who purport to be able to detect deception or to verify the truth of statements through the use of polygraph instrumentation and this Chapter shall be liberally construed to provide a system of certification for persons who use polygraph instrumentation, as herein described.
