RS 37:3131 - Property struck off to highest bidder All property sold at auction shall in all cases be struck off to the highest bidder except such as may be limited. When the owner or any person employed by him is the highest bidder, he is subject to the same duties as if the property had been struck off to any other person. Acts 1986, No. 564, §4, eff.
