RS 37:3256 - Penalties Any person who violates the provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than six months, or both. For each subsequent offense, the violator shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than one year, or both. Acts 1988, No. 701, §2.
