RS 37:3501 - Purpose A. The Legislature of Louisiana declares that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Louisiana to require the licensure of private investigators and businesses. B. The purpose of this Chapter is to require qualifying criteria in a professional field in which unqualified individuals may injure the public. The requirements of this Chapter shall contribute to the safety, health, and welfare of the people of Louisiana. Acts 1992, No. 245, §2.
