RS 37:386 - Disobedience of board order or subpoena; court proceedings If any person fails to comply with an order of the board or with a subpoena issued by the board, any of its members, or its secretary or agents or if any witness refuses to testify to any matter regarding which he may be lawfully interrogated, the district judge of the parish in which the person resides, on application of any member of the board, its secretary, or an agent or employee shall compel obedience by proceedings for contempt as in the case of disobedience of the requirements of a subpoena issued from the court or a refusal to testify therein.
