RS 38:1503 - Recording in drainage records Whenever any law of this state now requires any proceeding of any drainage district or sub-drainage district to be recorded in the mortgage records of the parish or parishes in which the drainage or sub-drainage district is located, the proceedings shall not be recorded in the mortgage records but shall be recorded in the book of drainage records. This recordation shall be a full compliance on the part of the clerk and recorder with the requirement of the law designating the proceedings to be recorded in his mortgage office, and shall be a full compliance with the requirement of any provision of the drainage laws requiring any proceeding to be recorded in any mortgage office.
