RS 38:1850 - Polling places, ballot boxes; election officials The board of commissioners ordering the election shall designate the polling places, shall provide the ballot boxes, ballots, valuation of property and a compiled statement of voters in number and amount, and shall fix the compensation of the election officers. It shall appoint, for each polling place, three commissioners and one clerk of election, all of whom shall be registered voters.
