RS 38:1866 - Compliance with other statutes not required This Part shall be full authority for the assumption of the outstanding bonded debt and other indebtedness of any drainage district or districts by the consolidated gravity drainage district in this Part authorized. No ordinance, resolution, or proceeding in respect to the assumption of any outstanding bonded debt or other indebtedness of any drainage district or districts, shall be necessary, except as required by this Part. No promulgation or publication of any resolution, ordinance or proceeding relating to the assumption of said debt shall be necessary, except as required by this Part. Any publication prescribed hereby may be made in any newspaper conforming to the terms of this Part, without regard to designation thereof as the official journal of the parish.
