RS 38:1998 - Levy and collection of taxes, assessments and forced contributions All taxes, special taxes, local assessments, forced contributions and acreage taxes, levied, assessed and collected in the Lafourche Basin Levee and Drainage District shall be levied, assessed, and collected according to the Constitution and laws of Louisiana relative to the collection of taxes, special taxes, local assessments and forced contributions and acreage taxes in drainage districts organized under the general laws.
