RS 38:2115 - Employment of attorneys, engineers, etc.; compensation The board of commissioners of every irrigation district created under the provisions of this Part, may employ an attorney or attorneys, and fix his or their compensation. The board of commissioners may employ engineers, clerks, and other agents and employees, and fix their compensation.
