RS 38:2752 - Board as political agency; purpose The board shall be a political agency of the state of Louisiana and, subject to the limitations and restrictions set out in this Part, shall have authority to establish, maintain and protect a favorable level of fresh water in Bayou DeSiard and Bayou Bartholomew Cut-Off Loop in Townships 18, 19 and 20 North, Ranges 3 and 4 East, in the Parishes of Ouachita and Morehouse, state of Louisiana, to be available for all beneficial uses and purposes.
