RS 38:2840 - Tax exemption The lands which lie within and form the Black Bayou Lake proper shall not be subject to any ad valorem taxation or any other tax of any nature whatsoever by either the State of Louisiana or any of its political subdivisions, for so long as the said lands shall form and lie within the lake proper. All property acquired, however, regardless of the manner in which it is acquired or the source from which it is acquired, shall thereafter become the property of the State of Louisiana for the use and benefit of the Black Bayou Watershed District.
