RS 38:305.1 - Atchafalaya Basin Levee District; employment of attorney Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, the board of commissioners of the Atchafalaya Basin Levee District may employ one or more attorneys of its choice to represent it; however, such choice shall not be restricted to employment of the third assistant district attorney of the Eighteenth Judicial District of Louisiana.
