RS 38:3382 - Purpose The purpose of this Chapter is to provide a method by which the various governing authorities throughout this state may join together in cooperative endeavors for the enhancement of commercial transportation by highways, by rail, on inland waterways, on the oceans, and through the air so that manufacturers, shippers, importers, exporters, and all businesses which utilize transportation services will be better served.
