RS 38:417 - Issuance of warrants for compensation of assessors upon completion of duties The state auditor shall not audit or warrant the compensation of any assessor of the state whose parish or any portion thereof lies within a levee district or levee and drainage district until the assessor shall exhibit to and file with the auditor a certificate from the president of the levee board or levee and drainage board showing that he has performed the duties imposed upon him by R.S. 38:416.
