RS 39:1341 - Staff assistance A. The legislative auditor and the legislative fiscal office shall assist the committee in the performance of its duties and functions under this Chapter. B. The committee shall have the authority to employ professional, clerical, and other personnel, and incur such expenses as are necessary for carrying out its review, analysis, and study of the proposed budgets.
