RS 39:1422 - Legislative intent It is the intent of the Legislature in enacting this law to establish uniform provisions relating to maximum interest rates and advertising for bids for public sale of securities of public entities so as to assist public entities in marketing their securities under frequently changing money market conditions over which they have no control.
