RS 39:328 - Notice to commissioner prior to inventory; supervision by division Each property manager shall notify the commissioner in writing of the date or dates on which any property inventory in his agency will be conducted, which notice shall be mailed at least thirty days prior to the date the inventory is to begin. The commissioner or his representatives may supervise all or any part of any inventory. For the purpose of testing the completeness and accuracy of inventories, records and reports, the commissioner shall cause periodic observations of inventories and examinations of records to be made and shall cause reports submitted to him to be compared periodically with records of the agencies and with the physical property of the agencies.
