RS 39:336 - Extra compensation for deputy sheriffs The state treasurer shall calculate a monthly extra compensation allowance for full-time commissioned deputy sheriffs under the requirements and amounts specified in R.S. 40:1667.7. He shall specify the amount of compensation to be paid to each such officer in each parish and shall remit such sums of money to the sheriff of each parish for credit to the sheriff's salary fund of the parish.
