RS 39:344 - Warrants; form A. In all cases of accounts which are audited and allowed against the state, and in all cases of grants, salaries, and expenses allowed by law, the commissioner of administration shall draw a warrant upon the state treasurer for the amount due. B. This warrant shall contain a certification showing the amount due by the state, the reason therefor, to whom it is due, and a direction to the state treasurer to pay this sum out of funds appropriated for that purpose.
