RS 39:556 - Sewerage district purposes The governing authorities of sewerage districts may incur debt and issue negotiable bonds for the purpose of constructing and maintaining sewers and sewerage disposal works for the districts and for no other purpose. The title to the sewers and sewerage disposal works shall be in the public.
