RS 4:734 - Sale of tickets at fund-raising event Notwithstanding any provision of this Chapter to the contrary, a candidate for public office, as provided for in R.S. 18:1483(3), or his principal campaign committee, as provided for in R.S. 18:1483(15), may conduct a fund-raising activity involving the sale of tickets which afford the purchaser an opportunity to win a door prize, raffle, or similar gift or prize.
