RS 40:1035 - Permit revocation or suspension; inspections A. The secretary may revoke or suspend any permit issued hereunder if it is determined that sodium pentobarbital is being used for any purpose other than humane animal euthanasia or that the permitted facility has failed to abide by the regulations promulgated by the secretary for the safe and efficient purchase, possession, or administration of sodium pentobarbital. B. The department shall inspect any permitted animal control facility to determine compliance with this Chapter or any rules or regulations promulgated pursuant thereto.
