RS 40:1269.3 - Authority to enact regulations for control of rabies The Louisiana Department of Health shall enact in the state sanitary code all necessary provisions concerning the requirements for the control of rabies in animals, including the authority of parishes and municipalities to enact local ordinances, the report of incidence of the disease and the enactment of enforcement provisions.
