RS 40:1275.2 - Definitions For purposes of this Part, the following definitions shall apply: (1) 'Department' means the Louisiana Department of Health. (2) 'Office' means the office of public health, Louisiana Department of Health. (3) 'Severe head injury' means acute traumatic injury to the central nervous system within the skull which is serious enough to cause significant long-term functional impairment.
