RS 40:1504 - Fire protection districts within Pointe Coupee Parish; governance The governing authority of Pointe Coupee Parish may provide, by ordinance, for the governance of fire protection districts created by the parish. Any such ordinance may provide for the creation of one or more supervising boards to govern such districts. Any ordinance that creates a supervising board shall provide for the appointment and compensation of board members. Acts 2021, No. 42, §1, eff. June 1, 2021.
