RS 40:1554 - Director; staff A. The board of commissioners shall appoint a director of the district. The director shall serve as secretary-treasurer of the board. The director shall assume full responsibilities as director of the district, shall receive a salary fixed by the board, and shall serve at the pleasure of the board. B. The board shall appoint such staff as is necessary to assist the director in the operation of the district. Acts 2001, No. 188, §1, eff. May 31, 2001.
