RS 40:1667.8 - Authorization of back supplemental salary payment If it is determined by the board of review, as established in this Subpart, that supplemental salaries, as provided for in R.S. 40:1667.1 and R.S. 40:1667.7, are due eligible recipients for back periods of time, the board shall certify to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget that such payment is due. Upon receipt of such certification, the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget may, in its discretion, approve payment of all or a portion of such supplemental salary from the appropriate special fund created in this Part; however, no payment shall be made to any one recipient in excess of ten thousand dollars at any one time.
