RS 40:1721 - Declaration of policy In order to insure the public health and safety and to facilitate the efficient use of state funds in the new construction, alterations, additions for renovations of state buildings, there is hereby created a Louisiana Building Code for State Owned Buildings consisting of the various building codes and standards designated in this Part. The provisions of this Part should not be construed to supercede any local building codes or standards except as they apply to state owned buildings. Added by Acts 1975, No. 706, §1.
