RS 40:1730.36 - Registration required to practice as code enforcement officer; violations; penalty On or after January 1, 2007, no person may practice as a code enforcement officer in this state unless registered as provided in this Part. A person violating the provisions of this Part shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than thirty days.
