The state operated general hospital located in Lafayette, Louisiana, which replaced and is the successor to Southwest Charity Hospital in Lafayette, also formerly known as Lafayette Charity Hospital, is hereby designated and shall hereafter be known as University Medical Center. B. The cancer research and treatment program at the University Medical Center is hereby designated and shall hereafter be known as the Dr. Karuna Kukreja Memorial Cancer Program.
