RS 40:2017.5 - Promotion of nurse education program The department is further authorized and directed to cooperate with all agencies, both public and private, in promoting a program of nurse education, including the establishment wherever feasible of additional schools for training student nurses in state owned institutions where such schools do not exist and in private hospitals.
