RS 40:2017.7 - Enforcement of rules and regulations It shall be the duty of the secretary as executive head of the department to enforce all rules, standards, regulations and orders of the department and for these purposes he may institute and prosecute mandamus or injunction suits against alleged violators of such rules, standards, regulations or orders in the courts of this state. In any such suits it shall be the duty of the attorney general and the general counsel of the department to represent the secretary. Added by Acts 1958, No. 38, §1.
