RS 40:2180.1 - Licensure of intermediate care facilities for people with developmental disabilities (ICF/DD) Any public or private (ICF/DD) now engaged in the provision of services or hereafter desiring to be engaged in the same shall apply to the department for a license authorizing them to engage in such services. (1) The license shall indicate the types of developmental disabilities services that a public or private provider is authorized to provide. (2) Providers who are already licensed are not required by this Section to reapply until the current license expires, except when applying for new developmental disabilities services.
