RS 40:2180.22 - Purpose The purpose of this Part is to authorize the Louisiana Department of Health to promulgate and publish rules and regulations for the licensing of free-standing birth centers; to provide for the health, safety, welfare, and well-being of persons receiving services at free-standing birth centers; and to provide for the safe operation and maintenance of free-standing birth centers.
