RS 40:2716 - Criminal penalty Any person who has a tanning facility which is required to be registered pursuant to this Chapter and who fails to register that facility as so required or who operates that facility after such registration has expired, been suspended, or revoked shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person convicted of such a misdemeanor shall be fined no less than one thousand dollars and no more than five thousand dollars for each violation. Each day of operation of a tanning facility in violation of the provisions of this Chapter shall constitute a separate offense. Acts 1990, No. 587, §1, eff. July 19, 1990.
