RS 40:35 - Failure to complete medical certification If the medical certification portion of the death certificate contains too many indefinite or unsatisfactory terms, as determined by the state registrar, denoting only symptoms of disease or conditions resulting from disease and the like, the state registrar may require that the certificate be returned for completion and no certified copy of the death certificate shall be issued until completed properly.
