RS 40:46.1 - Amended birth certificates; change of biological filiation; general principle If the biological filiation of a child changes after a birth certificate has been prepared for the child, the state registrar shall amend the birth certificate to reflect this change, in accordance with R.S. 40:46.2 through 46.11.
