RS 40:522 - Limitations Nothing contained in R.S. 40:515 through 519 shall require or permit any payment to a representative that is redundant to the proceeds of any insurance policy payable to the representative in connection with the same matter as that for which indemnity would otherwise be given. Further, no discretionary payment of indemnity shall be made if such payment would jeopardize the ability of the authority to carry on its customary activities and meet its other obligations.
