RS 40:550 - Partial invalidity; severability If any provision of this Chapter or the application thereof to particular circumstances is held unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, the remainder of the Chapter or the application of that provision to other circumstances shall not be affected. In such event it is the intention of the legislature that this Chapter would have been adopted without the inclusion of the provision held to be unconstitutional or otherwise invalid.
