RS 40:609 - Exemption from labeling requirements The department may promulgate regulations exempting from any labeling requirement of this Part small open containers of fresh fruits and fresh vegetables and also food which is, in accordance with the practice of the trade, processed, labeled, or repacked in substantial quantities at establishments other than those where originally processed or packed, on condition that the food is in conformity with the provisions of this Part upon removal from the processing, labeling, or repacking establishment.
