RS 40:619 - Certain drugs and devices excepted from labeling and packaging provisions The department shall promulgate regulations exempting from any labeling or packaging requirement of this Part drugs and devices which are, in accordance with the practice of the trade, processed, labeled, or repacked in substantial quantities at establishments other than those where originally processed or packed, on condition that these drugs and devices are in conformity with the provisions of this Part upon removal from the processing, labeling, or repacking establishment.
