RS 40:971.3 - Misbranding or adulteration of drugs with intent to defraud or mislead Any person who violates the provisions of R.S. 40:617 or 636 with respect to any drug, as defined in R.S. 40:602, and with the intent to defraud or mislead shall be imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than five years, or fined not more than ten thousand dollars, or both.
