RS 40:981.1 - Distribution to a student Any person who violates any provision of R.S. 40:966 through 970 by distributing any controlled dangerous substance listed in Schedules I, II, III, IV, and V to any student enrolled in any public or private elementary, secondary, vocational-technical training, special, or postsecondary school or institution in Louisiana shall, upon conviction, be punished by a term of imprisonment of not more than one and one-half times the longest term of imprisonment authorized by the applicable provisions of R.S. 40:966 through 970 or by payment of not more than twice the fine authorized by the applicable provisions of R.S. 40:966 through 970, or both.
