RS 41:1324 - Confirmation of certain sales and locations All sales and locations of public lands made by this state from the first of January, 1861, to the fourteenth of October, 1864, which are shown by the records of the register's office, are confirmed, and patents shall, on demand, be issued in the name of the purchaser, and be delivered to the party surrendering the proof of entry or location, or on making, to the satisfaction of the register, proof of loss.
