RS 41:6 - Issuance of patents The governor shall issue patents: (1) For all lands sold, on presentation of the treasurer's receipt. (2) For lands located by warrants, whenever he is satisfied that the lands have been legally sold and located. Acts 1983, No. 705, §3, eff. Sept. 1, 1983.
