RS 41:882 - Resolution of the school board The school boards of the several parishes may enact and adopt, either at a regular meeting or a special meeting called for the express purpose, a resolution authorizing and requesting the president of the school board to execute a correction deed correcting the description in deeds to sixteenth sections or parts thereof where the sixteenth section or part thereof lies in the parish of the school board, when it is shown to the satisfaction of a majority of the school board that the original deed was in fact erroneous and it was the intent of the parish treasurer to sell and the purchaser to acquire a tract or tracts other than or in addition to the tract described in the original deeds.
